Yesterday Mojang is Officially Owned by Microsoft

Sorry I posted this a little late, but yesterday was the first day that Mojang was officially owned by Microsoft! Don't freak out though like my sister has. They will not ruin Minecraft. Phil Spencer, the head of the Microsoft Studios division at Microsoft. He posted this on Twitter:

It's official, today we welcome Mojang to the Microsoft Studios family. We're excited for the possibilities ahead w/ the Minecraft community.

7 Top Announcements From the Nintendo Direct 11/5

During the Nintendo Direct last night(11/5), Nintendo posted a lot of info on upcoming games and more. I will post 7 of the announcements here:

1.The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D
It is a remake of the Nintendo 64 version, coming exclusively to the 3ds in Spring 2015!

2. First Mario Kart 8 DLC
The first DLC pack releases on 11/13 and it includes more tracks and characters from other Nintendo games like the Legend of Zelda for example.

3. Amiibo
The Amiibo will be compatible in other games than Smash 4 such as: Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Hyrule Warriors, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Yoshi's Woolly World, and Mario Party 10. In Mario Kart 8, if you tap a Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Kirby, or Captain Falcon Amiibo to the Gamepad, you get an outfit of that character for your Mii to wear.

4. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
I thought this was a bummer, because I thought you would actually be controlling Kirby, but that's not the case. You have to draw rainbow lines for Kirby to roll on to get to the next part of the level. However, you can do multiplayer, whom the players are Waddle Dees who can move on their own account. It will release in February 2015.

5. PIKMIN Short Movies + Free PIKMIN 3 Demo
Yay! You can buy them on the Nintendo Eshop on your 3ds or Wii U console. It is $5 for the films. On the 3ds, it plays in 3D, but on the Wii U, it does it in HD. All 3 of the films combined are about 20 minutes long, so the price is pretty steep. You can also get a Pikmin 3 demo for free in the Wii U Eshop.

6. Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric Demo
The Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric demo will release on the Wii U on December 4 for free.

7. Challenger Approaching...
Duck Hunt Dog! Nintendo made Duck Hunt Dog his own Super Smash Bros. 4 trailer!

Minecraft PE 0.10.0 Alpha Build 6 is the Last

3 days ago, Mojang released the last Alpha Build for 0.10.0, 6, and this is the last one! Look out for 0.10.0 coming soon! It's a bummer that we don't have skin changing or enchanting like they originally said, but hopefully they will be here soon!

Amazon FINALLY Adds Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U Gamecube Adapter Release Date

Amazon has finally adds the release date to their website for the Super Smash Bros. Gamecube Adapter for 11/21. Phew! It is releasing the same day!

New Amiibo Update: More Amiibo Compatible with Mario Kart 8!

Nintendo just released an update to the Mario Kart 8 website, and they are showing more Amiibo coming to Mario Kart 8! Here is the full list of all the Amiibo compatible:

Nintendo Direct coming Tomorrow, November 5

Attention gamers! Nintendo will have a Direct tomorrow, 11/5! They are likely to cover info on Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and more info on Amiibo and what games they will be compatible with. Nintendo says that they will cover games up to Spring 2015. The Direct will air at 5pm (ET).

The Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric TV Commercial is Totally Awesome!

Funny, right? Who is planning to buy Rise of Lyric? I will eventually. It is on my list for Wii U games. The game will release on 11/11 in North America and 11/21 in Europe. The TV show of Sonic Boom is airing on 11/8 on Cartoon Network in the US.

Amiibo Displays are Showing up in Walmarts Around the US

Amiibo displays have been showing up in Walmarts. I actually saw the display yesterday when I went to Walmart. It shows videos on Amiibos and what they are, even trailers for certain characters, and what games they will be compatible with. The Amiibo are about the size of a regular Skylander.

Here is a video (I did not make it). You will notice that it hints that there will be a Tom Nook, Pikmin, and Bowser Amiibo:

Nintendo Announces that Mario, Peach, Yoshi, and Donkey Kong Amiibos will be Compatible with Mario Kart 8

You heard it, the Mario, Peach, Donkey Kong, and Yoshi amiibos WILL be compatible with Mario Kart 8! I am surprised they didn't say anything about Diddy Kong coming in the second series, so I am hoping he will be too!
